(Comment from Janis - Maybe we should all dress up as Pirates and fly kites or fly pirate kites.) HERE COMES NATIONAL KITE MONTH!!! 3/26 - 3/28 3/30 - 4/4 More Traction! 4/10 On 22nd Street - between Miner & Via Cabrillo - parking lot and bathrooms Location 22nd Street Park in San Pedro, CA - This will be a fun fly with free kites for all the kids. Again all are welcome and this is a awesome park for flying kites - 7 acres of grass - good wind - no trees or power lines and no sand to stick to everything - I would love to have anyone that loves to fly kites show up - but don't expect anything from anyone - This is just a wholesome, good day without competitions from stress. - Once again James Weston (Monty's son) is organizing this fun fly. 4/11 4/17 Yes! We're On! Again, we'll be making kites with Oxnard's "Day at the Park"
Kids mid day. Flying our own, all day and if the wind is good, hanging
out for a night fly. We'll get Hector to deliver some good food that night
